Wings are a great staple in any diet, and knowing the right day to catch the Halifax Wing Night deals can be essential. Hopefully this list comes in handy.
Most places have their Wing Night specials during specific times, and I generally don’t track that information, as it can be quite time-consuming. However, it’s safe to say that these magical deals usually occur in the evening, and a beverage purchase of some sort is probably required.
I do my best to watch for any price changes; however, they can change fairly quickly, so if you notice an update is needed, please let me know!

Looking for some recommendations?
Off the top of my head, here are a few places I really enjoy (sorted alphabetically, not by my top places), with a mini blurb on each:
Besharam Bar & Grill – A new favorite wing spot! It was my first time trying Kerala Fried Wings, but won’t be my last. They have a super light and crunchy breading with a delicious flavor. Definitely check them out!
District 5 – While coming in a bit on the smaller side, that’s fine with me as the quality is top notch. You’ll be treated to some great wings and delicious sauce options.
Eli’s Pizzeria – Off the beaten path but well worth the travel. You’ll need some time to pick out your dry rub and sauces here, as there is no shortage.
Jacob’s Lounge – The voters were correct for The Coast Best Chicken Wings for 2023! My recommendation here is to get the house dry rub!
Niche Lounge – Buttermilk brined and a crispy breaded exterior.
The Stubborn Goat – A light but yet crispy exterior, comprised of potato flakes. Delicious!
Trendz Gastro Pub – This place is a bit tucked away, but I’m sure you’ll be a happy camper with the wings at this place.
Your Father’s Moustache – A Wing staple in the area. Crispy breaded Wings.
Wing’n It – I had a chance to check out the wings here recently and I was impressed. You’ll love the selection of sauces and dry rubs here.
There are definitely a lot more places out there. These are just a few that come to mind. I’m sure this list will change up once in a while.

If you haven’t tried Sou Wester in The City on Larry Utek, give it a shot. I’d be interested to see what you think. I have a group of guys that go for wings every Thursday and this bar is one of our favourite spots; atmosphere is good, service is fantastic, the food is great …except for the wings! The wings are hit and miss, and more often than not they are just too small (I doubt if they add up to a lb). Some have been the size of my little finger. The wings just aren’t at the level needed to be in the running with Mill Cover Brew Pub or Bedford Neighbour Hood Pub. The boys have provided feedback many times, but for some reason they just don’t get it. As a result, we end up going to different spots and then circle back to Sou Wester, only to be disappointed.
Hey there. I’ve never been there actually but it sounds like I should check it out. I was at Mill Cove a few months back and wasn’t impressed with the wings at all, so much dark and grungy meat. BNP is generally pretty good I find. Next time I’m in the area I’ll check out Sou Wester and post a review. Thanks for the info!

What wing purveyor did you feature a few years ago in the approximate [large] area between Main St and Portland St (e.g., Ellenvale or Woodlawn)?
If [poor] memory serves, this take-out wing joint perhaps operated as part of a neighbourhood corner store.
I don’t see reference to it anymore…if you know what I’m talking about, is it because they no longer serve wings?

Great site you got going on here. I’m returning to Halifax and was sad to here HFX Sports Bar is closed. They had the best wings imo. Big and loads of sauce.

Hey there. I find the Moustache has similar wings. Quite large and breaded. I really enjoy them. Buck a wing every Thursday.
Also, the wings at The Old Triangle are quite similar as well, but they don’t have a large sauce selection. $10/lb Thursday.
