I was pretty surprised to see they have wing specials
three nights a week! Wings are
$5.50/pound from 4:00 PM – 8:00 PM on Wednesday and Sunday and from 4:00 PM –
10:00 PM on Thursday. Any other time you’re
looking at $8.95/pound which is still a great price, especially for these
wings. I couldn’t help but notice the
banner on the inside advertising a 56 oz pitcher of Canadian for only $12! One thing to keep in mind is they only accept
credit cards and cash, no debit, and a beverage purchase is required with any
food item.
Breading: 5/5 – The wings were well coated with a crispy
(not too crispy) golden breading. A dry
spice addition would have been a nice compliment to them.

Overall quality: 5/5 – Cooked perfectly, had an excellent flavour, contained no dark meat and weren’t even greasy. These wings were delicious.
Sauce selection: 2/5 – Sauces included Honey Garlic,
Suicide and Dave’s Mild, Medium or Hot.
I went with the hot on the side.
Service: 4/5 – Drinks were offered very fast however it
took a bit of time before we placed the food order. Once the order was taken the food arrived in
a timely fashion. We didn’t require a
drink refill since a pitcher of beer was ordered with the wings.
Size: 5/5 – The wings were bigger than average and even
the flatties contained a decent amount of meat to them.

Jenny’s has been a staple in the North End for years, it
is a place that locals will go and staff will probably remember their names. It is nice to see a pub like this offering
such great wings with a cheap pour to make it even better. I am looking forward to returning, Jenny’s has now been added to my favorites list.

I find these are some of the best wings in town. Sometimes big quality will come in the darnedest places -- great review
