A bit greasy at Brewster's

I was craving wings the other day at work so I took the opportunity to try somewhere new and ended up at Brewster's for lunch.  I didn't have the best of luck the last time I visited an establishment in this plaza, I was hoping the trend wouldn't continue.

The wings are $9.99 a pound and half price on Thursday’s.

Breading: 3/5 – A fairly light breading with a bit of a greasy taste.

Overall quality: 2/5 – I found the wings seemed to contain an unusual amount of fatty type pieces to them and were a little too greasy overall.  On a plus side, the majority of the chicken was free from any darkish spots.
An odd looking wing.
Sauce selection: 3/5 - Mild, medium, hot, suicide, honey garlic, BBQ, or blue cheese dressing.  I went with the hot on the side.

Service: 4/5 – Our waitress was polite, promptly answered any questions we had about the menu and drink refills were offered.

Size: 3/5 – Fairly average for a chicken wing.  Not as much meat to it as the pic makes it look
A thinner flattie
Overall: 3/5

If I was to go back to this plaza I would choose Brewster's over the other place, even though my overall impression was a bit on the greasy side.

  1. Decided to try Brewster's for the first time, I live in the area and was very disappointed, I found it to be over priced for the low quality.
Save your time .... go somewhere else.
