So so at the Split Crow

I went to the Split Crow a little while ago to try some wings.  Their wing special is on Tuesdays - $0.35/wing.  Any other day you’ll be paying $6.99 for a half pound or $11.50 for a pound!  This has to be the most expensive pound of wings in the city, I can think of a few other places where I’d rather go if I had to pay full price.

Breading: 3/5 – An evenly coated light breading.  I got the dry Cajun on but you couldn’t really tell.

Overall quality: 3/5 – The chicken tasted like chicken but it seemed like there were a few “gooey” parts.  The chicken was in no means raw, but I’m not sure what was up with the gooey parts, perhaps the chicken was a little overweight and therefore had some excess fat in the wings?  I really don’t know
The wings were a bit on the "gooey" side in some places.

Sauce selection: 3/5 – Sauce selection included medium, hot, suicide, honey garlic, spicy Thai and dry Cajun.  I had the dry Cajun on and the spicy Thai on the side.

Service: 3/5 - Average service and it didn't take too long for the wings to arrive.

Size: 4/5 – The wings were bigger than your average sized wing.
It's a good sign when the wing is bigger the prongs on the fork.
Overall rating: 3.2/5

I wouldn't go out of my way to go back here for wings, but if I'm ever in the area on a Tuesday night and have a sudden wing craving, I'd go back.
